The Fallout series is finally available on Prime Video since April 12, 2024. However, the heroine seems to have a major flaw that bothers a fan. This fan has therefore called on AI to fix it, before being violently criticized by internet users on X.
Based on the video game series of the same name developed by Bethesda, the Fallout series is eagerly anticipated. But the initial reviews are very reassuring, and Prime Video subscribers can now form their own opinion. The 8 episodes are available in full since this Friday. It’s an opportunity to discover the storyline, the settings, but also the actors and actresses to assess their performances. In the lead role, we find Ella Purnell, whom you may have seen in the series Sweetbitter, and who lends her voice to Jinx in the original version of the excellent series Arcane.
Her performance in the Fallout series has generally been praised. However, on X, the person behind the GameCharactersIA account has criticized her: he claims she does not have enough curves in her appearance. So far, let’s say this is a matter of taste. However, it becomes problematic when he asserts on social media that this is an issue that needs to be addressed. To do this, he used AI to enlarge the heroine’s backside: “quick and poorly done, but this flatness bothered me too much,” he writes. And of course, it did not go well.
On X, users show no mercy
This will probably come as no surprise, but following his post, the individual behind the GameCharactersIA account has been targeted by thousands of internet users. Several have invited him to “go outside” or to try to touch “a real woman” for once in his life. Others simply point out the complete lack of interest in such a post. Finally, gamers denounce the negative image this gives of them: players who would spend their day in front of their screens and who would lose their composure in front of a woman’s body.
This post may seem to provoke disproportionate reactions, but we must admit that it is particularly awkward, especially with the accompanying comment. In any case, here are some of the immediate reactions from users, who are particularly upset.
- “Go outside.”
- “Sors.”
- “You’ve never felt the touch of a woman”
- “Tu n’as jamais senti le toucher d’une femme”
- “Go interact with an actual human this is disgusting”
- “Another day another man embarrassed himself”
- “Go outside please I’m begging you”
- “You’re so pathetic lol throwing pictures to AI and pretend you had any creativity in making it is laughable and quite sad”
- “Tu es so pathétique lol. Balancer des images à une IA et prétendre que tu as fait preuve d’une quelconque créativité, c’est à mourir de rire et plutôt triste”
- “Can we make a new rule? To comment on the appearance of a woman, you have to have had the touch of a woman at least once in your life?”
If you’re looking for content a bit more constructive than an AI creation aimed at giving more curves to a woman, discover what the press thought of the Fallout series, already available on Prime Video.
It seems my post broke 10 million views for the first time! Thank you! If I had seen this coming, I would have put more effort into it, but I was in a hurry to get off to work. I think it got the point through, though.https://t.co/8vmlkeCefQ
